John T. Baldwin is Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.  He is a leading Adventist scholar in Science and Religion, obtaining his PhD in the philosophical relation of science and religion at the University of Chicago.  Prior to coming to Andrews, Baldwin taught religion at Union College and served as a pastor in New York and Illinois.  He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the Society of Biblical Literature, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Adventist Theological Society.
